How to file last years income tax in current financial year?

I want to file my last financial year's income tax returns in current financial year? What is the procedure for the same and where to get the relevant forms?

1. You have to file last year (1.4.07-31.3.08) income tax returns this year (08-09) by July 2008. But still you can file your returns before 31.3.2009 with interest. If you have to pay any income tax then you have to pay interest other wise no fine or interest. You have to file your returns in ITR forms. 2. you can file your last year income tax in current year upto 31 july. u can pay it even after this date upto 31 mar with interest. If you have paid your full advance tax then there will be no interest on late filing . Even after one year u can file it with an additional penalty of Rs.5000.
